CHRISTY HOWELL, lead secretary

Christy Howell is an incredible lead secretary at Skyview High School and she is the backbone of the building. Without her, it simply wouldn’t run smoothly. Even on days when the school is short-staffed and bustling with parents and visitors, Christy works her magic to keep everything running like clockwork. One nominator shares, “I had heard so many amazing things about her before joining the staff, and now I see why.” If you ever have any questions about the building, need assistance, or simply need to know who to reach out to, Christy is the go-to person. Skyview is fortunate to have her skill and dedication.
SHERI SODEN, cafeteria manager
Sarah J. Anderson Elementary School
In June, we’ll bid a fond farewell to Sheri, who is retiring after an impressive 31-year career in Nutrition Services. She exemplifies an exceptional child nutrition professional, with her warm smile, caring heart, and nutritious meals for “her kids” at Anderson. Each month, Sheri creates a captivating cafeteria with new themes, providing a welcoming space for students. During the COVID shutdown, she swiftly transformed her kitchen into a Grab and Go Meal site, serving the community with efficiency. As a mentor and kitchen manager, Sheri’s dedication and expertise inspire her colleagues. Her outstanding contributions truly deserve recognition.
