Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month

Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month this May! This is a dedicated time to honor the rich history, diverse cultures, and incredible contributions of the AAPI community to our nation’s story. From the pioneering spirits of early immigrants to the modern-day leaders in science, arts, and social justice, we recognize the resilience and vibrant traditions of people tracing their roots to the Asian continent and the islands of Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia.

Throughout the month, our school will be featuring student projects, cultural highlights, and educational resources to deepen our understanding of this multifaceted heritage. We invite all students and families to join us in reflecting on these vital perspectives and celebrating the “tapestry of voices” that makes our community so strong. Happy AAPI Heritage Month!
